The Allegro 9100 breathing air hose is specially selected to provide the required airflow with low pressure - constant flow airline respirators. 3/8 inch inside diameter hose and OBAC connectors work in combination to keep back pressure low. This is particularly important when used with low power ambient air pumps. To maintain the NIOSH approval of Allegro hoods and masks, it is required that you use Allegro brand hoses. NIOSH tests the mask or hood and hose as an assembly. This holds true up until the 'point of attachment'. This means the air pump or air distribution manifold.
